My Nottingham based client looks to appoint a permanent HR Manager to provide a professional and consistent HR service to managers in line with HR strategy.
Based from head office and reporting into the Head of Operations you will play a pro active role in developing and delivering HR initiatives in line with the HR/Operational business plan across a broad spectrum of activities.
Through implementation of HR best practice you will; maximise the effectiveness of employees within the defined client group by offering guidance and support to manage performance, identify development opportunities, create and drive succession planning and to reduce staff turnover and sickness absence rates.
Drive and support change (including cultural) into the business and ensure that line managers are suitably skilled to respond to change and to perform within a changing environment.
Identify training and development requirements and devise a plan to accommodate the needs of the client. Where appropriate, provide support on the facilitation and delivery of training.
Monitor the impact and outcomes of HR policies and practices and recommend/instigate improvements as appropriate.
Update policies in line with business changes and legislative changes
Applicants will have:
Attained or will work towards CIPD (or equivalent) qualification
Knowledge and understanding of Employment Law
Computer literate with experience in the use of Microsoft Office
Psychometric Testing Qualification
