An exciting opportunity at the very successful Aberdeen store has arisen for a confident, commercial HR Manager. The role can be performed on either a full or part time (c25 hours) basis, although some flexibility would be expected around store opening hours on occasion.
A background in retail is helpful but not essential, however it is vital that you have a keen interest in retail operations and in understanding how the business ticks.
Your remit will include absence management, disciplineries and grievances, recruitment and retention and reviewing policies and procedures. A significant element of your role will be around training and development and succession planning for future stars within the business.
In addition to your generalist HR responsibilities, you will also coach staff on sales and customer service, therefore contributing directly to the store's success.
