This organisation are a truly modern, customer focused niche manufacturing organisation. With a national presence, they have a number of smaller manufacturing sites focused on delivering services close to their customer sites.
A real 'operational' Human Resources Manager job, this role will be responsible for delivering local HR services. Empowering line managers to conduct the initial stages of any recruitment, disciplinary or grievance procedure, you will need to be on hand to advise and steer the process. As the sole point of contact, you will have all round responsibility for identifying and delivering initiates at a local level - from policy implementation to training and development. Other aspects of the role include time and attendance management, recruitment and selection and management of HR administration.
Whilst you have the backing of a larger HR department, you will be the sole charge for HR at this site. Therefore we need someone who has a proven track record in delivering advice and guidance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
