Reporting to the Group HR Director you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the people strategy within the different divisions through a team of Senior HR Business Partners. The key areas of focus will be around employee and Trade Union Relations, talent and succession, developing an engaged culture which celebrates success and drives performance, working with the senior management team on improving business performance and process and ensuring that MI is accurate and utilised for the operational business.
You will need to be of graduate calibre with significant experience in a senior role within a unionised business. A self starter, you will need the leadership skills to engage an experienced HR team. You will also need to be ambitious with the capability to progress from this role and possess exceptional commercial and financial acumen. The role has a national remit and the ideal location for a candidate would be within the Midlands, there is likely to be significant travel.
