Working within the HR Practice Development team, you will undertake thought leadership research and provide insight to support the CIPD advance the capability of the HR profession globally. This is a highly influential role and to be successful you will be expected to have a good understanding of the external landscape including other thought leaders’ views and alternative competitive offerings.
You will be responsible for leading high-profile dissemination activities through various channels (online/offline, written and face-to-face) including media interviews. You will be a graduate and have substantial HR experience and/or solid understanding either through previous research or a practitioner background. Experience of leading research projects and case studies is essential. Ideally a Chartered member of the CIPD and/or have a post-graduate qualification in your area of specialist expertise.
HR Thought and Practice Adviser Working within CIPD’s Commercial Training Department, your key focus will be designing and delivering high-quality, customised and creative learning and development solutions focusing on our HR and OD learning portfolios.
Integral to this, you will provide support to the Client Development Department and have experience of presenting to clients culminating in the design and delivery of courses which win business. Knowledge of the wider training market and an ability to determine the needs of HR practitioners, line managers and supervisors is essential. Of graduate calibre, you will have solid experience of working as an HR generalist and experience of face-to-face group training, (in-house and public programmes). You will be used to working with other trainers and familiar with the role technology plays in supporting learning Confident and credible with excellent interpersonal skills.
