Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager

Our client is a leading international law firm seeking to appoint an experienced graduate recruitment and development manager to an established and well structured function. Reporting in to a Head of Recruitment, this position requires an individual who has extensive experience in both graduate recruitment and development, ideally within a law firm. Based in the city, the role will deliver a full service stretching from attraction of candidates, milk rounds and university liaison, through to assessment, induction and then management of the trainees through their two year training contract.

With previous experience of managing a team, this role manages both the strategy and the operational delivery of the function. This experience will have been gained ideally in a law firm, but if not, a synergised accountancy, property or similar professional services partnership to ensure a strong understanding of the dynamic and process of trainees. As an engaging and out going individual, you will be an accomplished public speaker who is confident in representing the firm as the “brand ambassador” at both internal and external events. The ability to manage multiple projects at any one time is also a key requirement, as is demonstrating a leadership style and behaviours that inspire others.
